Medicare has reduced funding for rehab power wheelchairs, seating and other accessories. This will affect delivery of service. Please contact your legislator and express your concern. MN MA FUNDING ALERT!

MN MA has eliminated coverage for "back up" wheelchairs including repairs or replacement parts .

To be covered by MA the non-primary wheelchair must be used for essential home, school or other community services to be covered by MNMA. Private or waiver funding will be needed if we are repairing back-up wheelchairs.

You may think that since MA approved the equipment they will repair it but this is not the true now that new rules went into affect.

Please help by providing this information when calling for repairs.
